After college on a whim Halle signed up for the 200-hour Power Yoga Teacher Training at Corepower Yoga and in spring of 2012 completed her first teaching certification. Previously feeling a little lost, Halle felt right on track for the first time. After experiencing life-changing advances in her body, mind, and spirit, yoga moved center-stage as her primary means of wellness. After teaching for some time, Halle felt called to receive further training. In September of 2014, she received her second 200-hour certification throughSivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Tyrol, Austria where she focused on Vedic philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and asana.
Today, Halle teaches full-time for Corepower Yoga and has been honored to lead six Arm Balance and Inversion Workshops as well as the last four rounds of Corepower’s 200-hour Teacher Training programs. She also facilitates a CPY continuing education program called Extensions, in which she mentors recent graduates of the teacher training program in intelligent sequencing, theming, and physical assists.
Outside of Corepower, Halle offers private instruction, Sivananda yoga classes, and monthly workshops at West Loop Spine and Stability. She has taught yoga to girls K-4 through Smarty Pants Yoga. She is also currently enrolled in Amala School of Pre-natal Yoga at Moksha, and expects to complete her certification in September 2016. Halle is willing and able to customize your yoga experience to suit your needs. When she is not teaching yoga, she is a regular practitioner of Acro Yoga, loves to refine her vegetarian cooking skills, and relishes in the opportunity to travel the world.
Halle provides attentive instruction to all levels of practitioner. She offers hands-on assists and adjusts to create deep physical transformations and cultivate discipline while benefiting her students’ safety and alignment. She fully believes in the healing capacity of a regular yoga practice, and teaches in order to bring her students back to their mats day after day. Her teaching style embodies a calm attitude and a focused mind. And, since she believes that yoga is playtime, expect to explore and discover the world upside down and on your hands!
